1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sifa ("the Service"), provided by Ubunifu Tech ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sifa is a business management platform that provides sales recording, inventory tracking, employee management, and related tools for small and medium businesses in Tanzania. Sifa does not process, collect, or transfer money. It records business operations for the account holder's use.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including passwords and PINs. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Data Ownership

You own all business data you enter into Sifa. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than providing the Service. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Sifa for any unlawful purpose, to store harmful content, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.

6. Free Trial, Subscriptions & Payment

Every new business gets a 7-day free trial of the Team plan, with no payment required upfront. After the trial, you choose a plan (Starter, Team, or Multi-Branch) and pay a one-time setup fee of 50,000 TZS plus the monthly subscription. Plans are billed monthly or annually (annual billing includes a 2-month discount).

If payment is not received after expiry, your account transitions to read-only mode — you can view existing data but cannot create new records. Your data is preserved and fully accessible upon renewal.

7. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You may request deletion of your business at any time. Deleted businesses enter a 30-day grace period during which the data can be restored on request. After 30 days, the business and all its records are permanently removed. Inactive accounts that haven't logged in for an extended period may also be subject to deletion after notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

Sifa is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to ensure uptime and data integrity, but we are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, data errors, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
