Do I need to install anything?
No. Sifa is a web app — open it in your phone or computer browser and you're ready. You can also install it as an app on your home screen for instant access.
Does it work offline?
Yes. You can record sales, view products, and access your dashboard without internet. When you reconnect, everything syncs automatically.
I run more than one business — do I need multiple accounts?
No — one account covers everything. Register your first business, then add more from the settings page. Switch between them instantly from the sidebar. Each business has its own staff, stock, reports, and receipts, but you log in once with one email and password.
Is there a discount for owning multiple businesses?
Yes. Your 2nd business is 20% off every month, and your 3rd business and beyond is 30% off. The discount applies for as long as you have more than one business on Sifa, and auto-applies when the admin team approves your payment.
Can I have multiple branches under one business?
Yes — the Multi-Branch plan covers up to 5 locations. Each branch gets its own stock, sales, staff, and receipts (with the branch name printed on them), but you still see the business as a whole in reports. Stock moves between branches via an audit-trail transfer flow.
What if I'm not technical?
Sifa is designed for business owners who have never used business software before. The 7-day free trial includes a 4-step guided setup. If you'd like a hand, contact us on WhatsApp and we'll walk you through it.
How do I pay for the subscription?
After your 7-day free trial, send payment via M-Pesa, TigoPesa, or Airtel Money to +255 748 548 816, then submit the reference code in the app. We verify and activate your plan within 24 hours.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you stop paying, your account goes read-only — you can still see all your data, you just can't record new transactions. Your data is never deleted. You can also export everything in a single ZIP from the settings page at any time.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with encrypted connections. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. Every business is isolated at the database level via Postgres row-level security. We never sell or share your data.
